The underdogs eat tonight. A quarterly Friday-night tournament where Bracket B teams get a real shot at taking down the 5.0s — and taking their money.
Fixed partners • DUPR-seeded brackets • $30 per player • Prizes to 1st, 2nd & 3rd
Last Friday of every third month. Friday nights at Westlake Athletic Club.
Edition #1 — the first hunt.
Edition #2
Edition #3

Edition #5
Three reasons this isn't just another Saturday tournament.
$30 gets you a shot at $200+ plus a jackpot that grows every event. Most tournaments charge triple for a t-shirt and a medal.
3.5s share the court with 5.0s in the crossover semis. Where else do you get to hunt the best players in the valley for thirty bucks?
Win the whole thing and your team's next entry is comped. Come back, defend the title, go back-to-back.
Bring a partner. Get seeded. Survive your bracket. Then hunt the other bracket's best.
Fixed teams of two. Sign up together — no rotating partners, no draft.
Teams are split by combined DUPR. Top dawgs go to Bracket A. Everyone else: Bracket B.
Play every team in your bracket. First to 11, win by 1. Fast and ruthless.
A1 plays B2. B1 plays A2. First to 15, win by 2. This is where underdogs eat.
Winners play for the title. Losers battle for third — which still cashes.
In most tournaments the top seeds just beat up on everyone and take the money. Not here. The crossover semifinals mean a Bracket B team that gets hot has a genuine path through the 5.0s — and even third place pays. The little guys don't just show up. They hunt.
The highest combined DUPR teams. The ghosts everyone's trying to eat.
The rest of the field. Hungry, dangerous, and one hot streak from the money.
$30 per player in. $25 goes to the prize pool — split 50 / 30 / 20 between 1st, 2nd and 3rd — and $5 feeds the progressive jackpot below.
| TEAMS | POT | 1ST | 2ND | 3RD |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 8 teams | $400 | $200 | $120 | $80 |
| 12 teams | $600 | $300 | $180 | $120 |
| 16 teams | $800 | $400 | $240 | $160 |
A progressive jackpot that grows every single event — until somebody eats the whole thing.
$5 of every $30 entry feeds the pot — win or lose, it grows. The pot pays out the moment a Bracket B team wins the entire tournament: the ultimate Pac-Man run. Underdogs eat the ghosts, take first place and the jackpot.
Nobody hits it? It rolls over — bigger next time. Every event it survives, the bounty on the 5.0s gets fatter.
The live entrant list — updates the moment a team signs up. When it's full, it's full.

Night games, neon lights, eaten ghosts. Photos from each edition land here.
Nothing crazy. Pre-order at signup — we only make what sells, so there's zero waste.
Black snapback, embroidered chomper. For dethroning 5.0s in style.
Courtside towel, neon maze print. You'll need it.
A little ghost for your bag. Proof you were there.
↑ Organizer: prices are suggestions — set final pricing before launch. Rough costs: hats ~$8–12, towels ~$6–10, keychains ~$2–4 in small bulk.
The fine print, minus the fine.
Yes — both players need a free DUPR rating (mydupr.com). Brackets are seeded by combined rating, so accurate ratings keep it fair. No rating yet? Play a few recorded games first — it takes one evening.
Find a substitute at a similar level and let the organizer know — your spot and payment transfer with you. If you can't find anyone, the 48-hour refund policy applies.
It's a night event on 4 courts (2 per bracket). At full capacity expect about 4 hours including finals. Round robin starts on time — late teams risk forfeiting early games.
Your paddle, court shoes, and water. Balls are provided. Bring your appetite — someone's getting eaten.
Bracket B is built for the rest of the field — but this is a competitive prize event, not a clinic. If you have a DUPR and a partner, you're welcome.
Yes. Win the tournament and your team's $60 entry is comped for the next edition. Somebody has to come dethrone you.
